Burak Pirincci

Laboratory Technician Apprentice

Sally Sturgess

Business Administration Apprentice

Sally is a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice at Anand Financial Architecture in Uxbridge through HCUC Apprenticeships & Skills.

Sally stood out for delivering beyond expectations in a wide range of areas in the complicated area of financial services, which is particularly impressive for her relatively young age. As well as applying academic learnings from her college to the practical side of her work (and vice-versa) – including learning new concepts and advanced IT software – she also embraced additional learning opportunities such as participating in webinars. Sally has made many creative improvements for the company, including redesigning the literature, stationery and sales aids, as well as revamping the company’s quarterly report into what her employers describe as a ‘world class document’. Despite spending half of her first year having to work alone from home due to Covid, she dealt with this admirably well. She wants to gain the Financial Services Professional Qualifications, R01-6, to progress further in her career.

She was also a High Commended ‘Apprentice of the Year’ at the West London Business Awards 2021.

Marley Soso

Chef De Partie Apprentice

Marley started Level 2 Professional Cookery at Bellanger Restaurant in Islington. He is now studying to become a Level 3 Chef De Partie. He has won the Employee of the month twice and has been nominated an outstanding 10 times for this award. For an 18 year old, he is the prime example of – ‘Age is just a number’.

Chiara D’Aniello

Childcare Apprentice

Childcare can at times be hard and challenging and it is wonderful to see Chiara continues to show a passion and keen interest to continue to work hard even after a long day. Chiara has flourished in her career with Buttercups Nursery and has continued to learn and grown within her role.
