Services I offer:
I provide bespoke advice and guidance to those interested in Traineeships, Apprenticeships and Upskilling, from school leavers to career changers. My services include providing CV tips and interview coaching, as well as matching and screening applicants to our employment partners.
I also play a key role in promoting our opportunities to our local community organisations, including job centres and local charities.
Career summary:
Since graduating university I have spent 6 years working as an account manager within the London Architecture market, before moving into recruitment and then most recently joining the Apprenticeships team at HCUC in 2020.
Why choose HCUC:
Apprenticeships and Skills are a close knit team of accomplished professionals who understand first hand the benefits and value of apprenticeships and upskilling any stage of life. We work together to provide a quality and effective service to both individuals and employers and are proud of the many successes we have had to date.
One big achievement I have had at HCUC:
Every conversation has the opportunity to support someone in their career journey but in particular, I recently supported a mature applicant who was made redundant during the early stages of the pandemic. It was a difficult time for them as they’d been with their employer for over 20 years so they were shocked and didn’t feel confident to interview or upskill. I took care to go the extra mile to understand them and support with interview practice and advice. They’re now enjoying their new role as an HCUC apprentice!
My key strengths:
I’m a sociable, efficient and reliable team member. I have a considered, caring approach to working with individuals at any stage of their career. I take care in paying close attention to detail to ensure a quality and effective service to the local community across all levels, whether that be an apprentice, employment partner or local charity.
